I’ll be surprise if they **** up UFC 300 with the fight announce, only way I think they can is putting Charles and Jiri on the prelim and putting boring title fight and big name fights in their place

Charles is my favourite fighter, but I’m worried that Arman get tons of grappling success and Arman don’t have Darush chin or Kevin Lee submission defence, Charles need to kept it standing or take Arman down himself and not have too much faith in his bottom game, or it can be a resepe for distator for him

Charles will push foward like a maniac and get a KO in round 2 or possible get a body lock/ drag him to the ground for a submission. Either way I don't think this fight goes the distance.
Also on a side note, there is a weird idea among islam fans that if charles beat someone in the past or future islam automatically won against them as well because he won against charles. I legit see people saying that there is no fights for islam in lightweight because charles already cleaned it up. That's not how it works.
MMA Math doesn't work and there is always a puncher chance, Islam needs to defend the belt against diferent opponents that are in his division before going for two belts.

Imagine a scenario where Charles wins at UFC 300 and Islam refuses to fight the legitimate #1 challenger.
Or that Ali Abdelaziz, being the manager of both Islam and Justin, says that the only fight that takes place in October (probable Abu Dhabi Card) is Islam vs. Gaethje in the Main Event, an IC Belt gives him absolute challenger status to Tsarukyan or Oliveira.

Since Khabib was UFC champion, Dana White and the matchmakers know that he was only available to fight between the months of August to March-April (taking into account that the start date of Ramadan may vary depending on the year). The same case applies to Makhachev as Champion who even tweeted a couple of weeks ago that they would get him a fight for March or they would have to wait.
In my Opinion Matchmakers should do Islam vs. Oliveira 2 at UFC 297 or put him against Oliveira or Gaethje for UFC 298 or UFC 299 but I understand that they want to get all the value out of the Volk-Topuria rivalry and also take advantage of O'Malley's champion hype in a city where they have already done well very well like Miami (in addition to taking advantage of the fact that Vera has been the only fighter to beat the current bantamweight champion).
It was all a matter of Timing and I think that at least Oliveira's management should explicitly demand that the fight be an Interim Belt or Title Eliminator, that ensures that Islam's next fight is against the winner of the fight at UFC 300
