they had to do promo's to try to sold out the card here in brazil. promos like "buy $200 venum merch and get 2 tickets", go to "shooto event and earn a ufc ticket". the tickets were too expensive, the country is in economic crisis bc the president is a commie and everything else. 1.5M of ppl at Madonna's show in Rio too at same time of event

Maybe if the UFC put some effort in to make every fight super close instead of shooting for a nearly clean home country sweep fans would be more excited to attend.
Erceg won. Bad decision. Props to ppl who picked him, respect to y'all!

Steve clearly won rounds 3, 4 & 5. Most of Pantoja's punches on the feet were being deflected by Steve's shoulders and incredible angles-footwork. Erceg clearly won the exchanges on the feet in the last 4 rounds, and Pantoja did NOTHING with his grappling other than hug for dear life

One elbow or one strike doesn't necessarily score you the entire round. Context matters. I also thought Pantoja won round 3. The only round I thought was clearly Ercegs was round 4.

Yeah, it's like I said earlier in the thread. The UFC messed up big time and did a poor job marketing and also with the pricing of the seats. You can't ask for high prices in a place where people struggle to make ends meet. Brazil is known to have passionate fans, so I'm sure they would've showed up if the prices weren't that high.

2, 4, 5 at the minimum for Erceg. 3 can be argued either way. Say what you want about the awful decision to shoot a takedown from Erceg in the fifth, Pantoja did nothing at all with It, and Erceg had slightly more output before hand, so he should win by a thing margin on damage in the fifth.
