@Fish Shoeface has been out over a year, coming off back to back injuries. I don't like that at all. Plus, look at his streak, its really not all that impressive.. IMO Ian has the momentum & savagery on his side.

Yeah, agreed. I just watched his fight against Vitor's boy again and he looked impressive as ****. I picked him in that one too. I think he can go far. I don't think shoeface can hold him down even if he gets him there, which I also don't think will be easy or straight up may not happen, and he doesn't have the cardio or striking to deal with him as the fight moves forward. Heinisch by wrestling> BJJ, better hands, better power, and awesome escapes and scrambles. And toughness.

I got Ladd even if she doesn't make weight -- I think the superior skill will prevail in women's division.

so, rda is now the gatekeeper for the welterweight's? i think he should be ranked like #10 or 11 after 2 straight losses. if lee is serious about making a run in this division he has to win this fight. right now i've got lee to win a decision, but that is subject to change as the week progresses. tough fight to call since its lee's first out at welter.

If Lee can't get through Iaquinta, he's not getting through RDA.
RDA is still elite. His last two losses were to excellent pressure wrestlers with crazy cardio. Lee aint' that. His striking is garbage, and his gas tank sucks.
RDA by late KO/TKO. Lee would have to show up as a completely different animal at WW to win here. I cannot believe how many people have picked him.

to be honest im not a big fan of either of these guys but i think lee is better than you are giving him credit for. he was whooping tony's ass before the staph infection got to him and you can say what you want about iaquinta but he was a top 10 fighter when he fought lee. lee is young and has potential in spite of the stupid things he says. rda is barely a top ten fighter at this point but he never gets another title shot at 170. usman, askren and it pains me seriously to say this but prolly covington are going to rule the 170's for awhile. i hate saying that because i ******* hate leg *******, lay and pray wrestlers. but thats what i see happening. you should know by now fish that mma math is a joke, just because lee lost to iaquinta doesnt mean he loses to rda. two completely different fighters with completely different skill sets.

Granted, but how exactly do you see Lee winning? By sub? RDA has never been subbed. That would be a first. Very unlikely.
KO/TKO? Possibly, but also very unlikely. Lee Doesn't have one-punch KO power, and he also doesn't have power combinations like Alvarez who put away RDA, and really his TKO's come from the top. His best win is Barboza--who is a great fighter but a good matchup for Lee. He could win this way, but the probability of that is extremely low. RDA is not an easy man to finish. He's got an hellacious chin.
By decision? Also a possibility. However, Lee has faded in every single fight we've seen him go deep in. Say what you want about RDA, but his conditioning over five is beyond question. The longer that fight goes on, the more it favors RDA. Now, this is the biggest if, I'll admit. It's quite possible that Lee looks way better at WW and will benefit bigly from an easier weight cut.
But at the end of all things...well, I believe in yesterday. I have yet to see anything from Lee that makes me think he can pull an Usman or Covington on RDA. He does not have the conditioning for that kind of grind over five rounds. If he tries, he will burn out--and fail to get RDA where he needs him.

i agree the big unknown here will be lee's gas tank at 170. lee faded in the 5 rounder with iaquinta, no doubt about that, but every 5 rounder builds your cardio if you stay in shape between fights. also it tends to be true that the less weight you cut can also help your cardio. i can see lee winning with ground and pound or by decision. its an interesting fight no matter which way it goes. if lee wins maybe he does make a legit run at 170 and rda is relegated to gate keeper. if rda wins he might send lee back to light weight but i dont see him going any higher in the rankings or getting a title shot. so really when i think about it i dont see how this fight helps rda even if he wins.

Giles vs. Cummings
Trevin Giles, DEC
Cummings is a tough draw for a first fight back after almost 18 months out of the octagon. Giles has used that time to get married and work towards his goal of being a police officer. How much has he improved? If any. He is better at just about all aspects of MMA than Cummings. I don't see many ways for Cummings to win the fight. I do see this one going the distance and Giles taking it on the scorecards.

Good call, fella so. Krantz should stylistically make for a fun one. . Hopefully this lives up to potential violence factor.

dos Anjos vs. Lee
Kevin Lee, DEC
I just can't take RDA here. You see how wrestlers handled him pretty easily, sooo I kinda expect more of the same...
Luque vs. Krantz
Vicente Luque, TKO, R1
Maaaan.... Feel bad for Krantz. But I will say, I think Krantz makes for a tougher day at the job for Luqué, than that bum Magny.. And could make it more interesting tooo.. Either way, I still see the Luque wrecking company putting in more work.
Hubbard vs. Ramos
Davi Ramos, SUB, R1
I reeaaally wish one of the 11% who picked Hubbard to somehow pull outta win here, would tell me just how they see that happening. Cause I just dnt see it.
Ladd vs. Eubanks
Aspen Ladd, TKO, R2
I've been waiting to see what happens when Eubanks is put up against someone who is gonna bully her around and see how Eubanks responds. Coz that's how she normally gets her **** done, by being the bully... Take that away, what happens now? Coz despite the super sweeeet appearance of Aspen Ladd, she's an absolute savage of a woman.
Green vs. Jourdain
Des Green, DEC
Idk about what you think, but Des Green has looked like the best Des Green... He's finally figuring **** out.
Cummins vs. Herman
Patrick Cummins, DEC
Dammmmit Sean Shelby! Why would you make sucha garbage, rancid scrap like this!? What thee ****! I know of nobody who's excited for this one...
Arce vs. Erosa
Julio Arce, TKO, R3
Whoever is in charge of editing the thingys, they got the betting odds switched for this fight. I just checked Bovada. Arce is the -700 favorite, while Erosa is the +450 dog.... Just letting you know.

Green vs. Jourdain
Des Green, DEC
Hometown Rochester boy Des Green seems to be getting given a very winnable fight. UFC matchmaking to give the hometown guy a pop. Green has fought a pretty tough slate of fighters @ 155 in the UFC and had some success. The clear path to victory here for Green is to use his wrestling to ground and pound his younger debuting opponent. -500 odds is high for a guy with such a low finishing rate however. This fight is Green's to win. I do worry he stands too much with this guy and gives him a chance. Hopefully he learned from the Pearson fight which he used his wrestling to get his first UFC KO.
